The 2020 CET will be three primary exhibition halls: “the Cultural Concept”, “Design & Craft” and “Licensing”. By strengthening the cultural value of displayed products and proposing relevant themes for exhibition, the expo will interpret the views of generations and cultural aesthetic, which in turn inspire further design creative thinking.
In keeping with the award ceremony, this year’s exhibition is themed “Gala @ 23:59”, transforming the exhibition space into a banquet hall and inviting visitors to consume design inspiration as they would dine at a gala.

At the rear of the exhibition, Aiap / Italian association of visual communication design is invited to present the selection of posters from the current members. With more than 700 members from the whole Italy, this presentation allows us to peek into the current situation of Italian graphic design.
The exhibition will feature projects from Taiwan and Japan societies exploring the topic of “Design for Aging Societies”.
There are 64 finalists in the Golden Pin Design Award and 7 finalists in the Golden Pin Concept Design Award from Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, South Korea, Japan, and Germany. These finalists are all now in the running to win Best Design at the award ceremony in Taipei on December 5.
