The pass it can be obtained by filling in the applicant form in person at the library and paying the expenses or by mailing a cash pouch by registered mail.

1.Provisional Reading Pass
When applying for such a pass, please pay NT$200 (good for one day).

2.Ordinary Reading Pass
Student Reading Pass
The said pass is suitable for incumbent students of domestic and overseas schools, with an annual fee of NT$500.
When applying for such a pass, please show your student ID or photocopy of incumbent student certificate, with a 1-inch recent photo.
Individual Reading Pass
The said pass is suitable for the general public, with an annual fee of NT$1,000.
When applying for such a pass, please prepare a 1-inch recent photo.
Group Reading Pass
The said pass is suitable for corporations or organizations, with an annual fee of NT$1,000. Employees of a group which has already applied for such a pass can use facilities of the library with a real pass or a photocopy of the pass. A maximum of three employees is allowed to use library facilities at the same time.
When applying for such a pass, a representative of the group should carry his or her name card.

Rights of holders of reading pass
1.Benefits of various kinds will be offered to pass holders who attend design-related activities sponsored by Taiwan Design Center.
2.Pass holders are allowed to shoot photographs, scan the collection of the library without charge, and make photocopies with charge.
